innovation cultureInnovation culture is a culture that wants owned by each business. However, creating this culture is not easy. It takes commitment to do a different breakthrough from companies and business person.

How a leaders can create an innovation culture?
First of all, the company must be able to appreciate the creativity. Creativity enables innovation ideas to flow properly. Google for instance, which give frees for the employees to work on innovative projects that fit with their own making. In addition, the comfortable atmosphere of Googleplex also allows creativity to flow freely.

Second, implement an open communication, where employees can express their ideas and opinions openly. Must be a minimum of bureaucracy, so communication can be created without a hitch.

Third, companies should also have a good collaboration between departments. With a combination of perspectives among various departments, the idea of innovation will be created better.

Fourth, an innovation culture can only be created if there is commitment from the leaders. Leaders must develop the skills that necessary for innovation, both for her/him self and employees in the company.

Skills that needed to create an innovation culture:
Inside research conducted to help find the skill, what important skill that must owned by an innovator and entrepreneur or business person? here the answer:
1) Associating.
An innovator can combine the points that are separate information later became an innovative idea. An example is Steve Jobs who have an interest in calligraphy, so then the company can create a Mac which user-friendly and graphics-based.

2) Observing
An innovator have habit to observe intensive something. They do a strict observation of the surroundings, so that they can develop innovative products and provide appropriate solutions.

3) Experimenting
Innovators are always doing experiments. For them, the experiment is a challenge that must be conquered. They’re not going to stop before the experiment give meaningful results. Jeff Bezos, for example, the first idea of his business is to sell books via Internet without having inventory. However, after experimenting several times and then finally they build the capacity of the warehouse that full of books.

4) Questioning
Everyone can do observation, but without any question, thenĀ  observation is a less powerful, because the information obtained must be limited. The innovator is a person who always has a sense of curiosity and critical.

5) Networking
Innovators tend to socialize with different kinds of people. So, by knowing and relationships with them, then can discuss the ideas that previously might not occur.
